With over 15 years experience as a physical therapist , I specialize in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions. For the past 10 years, I have trained as a Functional Manual Therapist and became certified through the Institute of Physical Art in 2019. I also have experience in Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute as well as visceral manipulation.
My training also includes the use of Frequency Specific Microcurrent which has been shown through research to increase ATP production (the energy our cells use) by 500%.
I believe a whole person, individualized approach to patient care can help to get to the root causes of pain syndromes. In my practice, I view the body as an integrated unit and I seek to understand all of the factors that could be contributing to my client’s clinical picture. Treatment directed primarily at managing symptoms can give temporary relief, but often does not create the change needed for healing in the long term.
In my free time, I enjoy skiing, mountain and road biking, yoga, travel, gardening, cooking, reading, music, learning new things and spending time with my two daughters, husband, family and friends.
